The Oyamada family is traveling from Japan for this memorial. Please save the date and pray with us.
As in an previous entry, the family has made candles with Ryo's friends for the candle service.
These candles will gather everyone's thoughts at the accident site.
And one of the family's friend created this art work.
The Nike shoes were owned by Ryo. It has his birthday written down.
The message says;
He should have had his future...beloved one, his own family, his dream....
Why he had to die? Where is the dignity of man?
Feb.21.2013.
Ryo's sister came up with a strong message. It has been almost two years, but the family still doesn't know the details of what was really going on behind his death. This art piece will be at the accident site for the second memorial service as well.
Here is the making-of video for this art piece. The colorful path is made with egg shells.
